C h r o n o C r o s s  and  F i n a l F a n t a s y IX

1. Zidane's "daggers" are later connected at the ends to  resemble a swallow which is the weapon of Serge from Chrono Cross.

2. Freya is a member of the Dragon Knights. In Chrono Cross there were the Dragoon Knights (what's next? in FF10 there will be a group called Aavalanche?).

3. Both games use the money system of Gil. I guess they can conduct trade now from Limblum to Termina.

4. The main heroine of Chrono Cross uses two daggers and is a thief.  Zidane is a hero who uses two daggers and is a thief. Both  have consistently cheerful personalities and are extremely independent. Both were abandoned and raised by something else. Both discover that they are not really "human" but are clones.
